"We were approached by a client who lived in the flat above his shop. He had taken out his mortgage some 3 years ago with one of the main high street banks, who had charged him heavily for the privilege. At the time he believed this to be the norm for a commercial mortgage on his type of property. We were able to point out to him the availability of semi-commercial mortgages and to introduce him to a mortgage lender who has subsequently re-mortgaged his property at a saving in excess of £150 per month."

Result:Semi-commercial Mortgage Value – circa £75,000.
